The Dream Catcher series is a sustained meditation on how inner life takes form—how dreams, thoughts, memories, and desires move through consciousness rather than remain fixed within it. Each painting is structured around a circular architecture that acts as a threshold: an outer ring of accumulated experience, an inner field of perception and imagination, and a central channel where meaning passes, filters, and transforms. Together, the works function as visual instruments, designed not to capture dreams, but to orient the viewer within them.
Built through years of working with abstract, material-based processes, the series draws from painting, sculpture, and video as interconnected practices. Layered color, hand-built geometry, and repeated symbolic forms reference traditions ranging from illuminated manuscripts and sacred diagrams to modern abstraction, while remaining grounded in direct, physical making. Across the sixteen Dream Catchers, clarity is never forced; instead, attention, patience, and presence are treated as the true guides, allowing each work to operate as a quiet, luminous space for reflection and inward navigation.
